The District offers optional transportation services on a parent-paid (and partially Board-subsidized) basis provided through Alltown Bus Service for the school year. Parents may select one-way transportation or round trip.
Transportation Fees for the 2023-2024 school year are as follows:
- One-way transportation at $545 for the first rider; $505 for each additional rider
- Round-trip transportation at $925 for the first rider; $875 for each additional rider
Note: One way is limited to providing bus service in the morning only or in the afternoon only (not in combination).
In order to complete routing and ensure we have enough buses and drivers it is important to determine interest in transportation in a timely fashion. If you are interested in transportation services this year, please sign up by July 21, 2023. After this date you will be assessed a late fee of $50 for both round-trip and one-way transportation.
Register by following this link or you can click on the Transportation Fees tile on the homepage of the Web Store.
If you have any bus related questions or concerns, please contact Mary Lee at 847-446-9400 or [email protected].

With payment of dues, one becomes a member of the Winnetka District 36 Central PTO. Central PTO allows all schools to continue the functions that we value by providing insurance to enable activities to take place at each of the schools, absorbing the cost for the online directory (Directory Spot), and providing financial oversight for all school PTOs. Dues are $18 PER FAMILY for the 2023-2024 school year.
NOTE: The last day to purchase the Central PTO dues will be Friday, September 29, 2023.
