Optional Fees
iPad Accidental Damage or Lost/Stolen Device Coverage
Students in grades K-8 have the option of purchasing iPad coverage at a cost of $30, for accidental damage or a lost/stolen device. Click here for cost comparison.
NOTE: Coverage may be purchased up until the end of the day on Monday, September 29, 2025. After that date it will no longer be available for current students to purchase.
Transportation Service
The District offers optional transportation services on a parent-paid basis for the school year. In order to encourage additional ridership the District will be offering a reduced flat fee of $500.00 for either one-way AM, one-way PM or two-way bus service. Due to the 50% cut in fees from 2024-25, there will no longer be a separate fee for one-way or two-way bus service or a discount for multiple riders in the same household.
Transportation Fees & Deadlines
$500.00 flat fee if paid April 7 - July 11, 2025
$550.00 flat fee if paid July 12 - August 1, 2025
Bus registration will be closed starting August 1 - September 14.
Bus Registration will reopen September 15 - September 30, 2025.
Note: One-way is limited to providing bus service in the morning only or in the afternoon only (not in combination).
Kindergarten Students (Half-day and Extended Day Programs)
Kindergarten students have the option of riding the K-4 school bus to school in the morning, or to home in the afternoon if they are enrolled in the Stay & Play Program (choose 25-26 Stay and Play from the side menu of options to enroll).
Right at School (Before School Care)
K-6 grade students who participate in the Right At School before-school care program at Greeley School, but do not attend Greeley School, will be provided bus transportation to their home school.
There is no mid-day bus service for AM-K students.
After-school care will be offered at the elementary schools only. No bus transportation will be provided. Skokie students wishing to participate in the after-school program would walk to the Crow Island School program.
SIGN UP FOR BUS SERVICE & Bus Pass Information

If your child is a returning bus rider, their current bus pass can be used for the 2025-26 school year as long as you register and pay this year’s bus fee. If your child is a new bus rider you will be able to pick up your child’s bus pass at the District Office the last week of August. After August 29, 2025 bus passes will be sent to your child’s school.
If your child loses their bus pass there will not be a charge for the first replacement bus pass. However, there will be a $5.00 charge for the second replacement bus pass and each replacement bus pass going forward.

Elementary and Skokie School Milk Fees
Parents are able to order milk on an annual basis and students can choose between 2% milk, skim milk or chocolate milk for the entire year. Please purchase one beverage of choice for each student for the desired day(s) per week.
NOTE: The last day to purchase milk will be Monday, September 29, 2025.
Kindergarten Stay & Play
Stay & Play is an opportunity for supervised play time at school for the one hour plus time period between the Kindergarten dismissal at 2:10 p.m. and the regular end of the school day at 3:15 p.m. (Tues.-Fri) or 2:45 p.m. (Mon.) Supervision is provided by non-certified staff.
NOTE: The last day to purchase the Kindergarten Stay & Play for currently enrolled students will be Monday, September 29, 2025.
Right At School Before and After School Program
Right At School provides an optional parent paid before and after school program to students in grades K-6. Payment for the program is made through Right at School’s website. Please visit the main page of our web store and click on the "Right at School" tile at the bottom of the page.
